Sour Well Reclamation

Sour wells are deep "dead wells" that store disposed and residual contaminated fluids. The stored contaminants seep into the ground and affect the water table.

H2S – highly toxic Hydrogen Sulfide, is one of the worst contaminations in these wells and makes them highly volatile or "sour". Water from the sour well is a perfect conductor for this lethal component. Conventional methods of cleaning or reclamation do not address the contaminated ground or water table.
